Projects

Whispers of the Sacred Woods

Final project for the CEGEP. Using Godot, my goal was to make a proof of concept for a open-world action platformer a la Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (GBA). Having truly enjoyed its ability-copy mechanic, I was inspired to create something similar while pushing my limits as a video game creator. Music, sound and all of the player character sprites were all made by me.

Arcana Match

Final project for the Unity course. The goal was to create a game using networking, using Netcode for GameObjects. I decided to make a two-player game with turn-based combat. I was heavily inspired by the combat system in Golden Sun (GBA). Note that for this demo, I made a combat against the AI. All models and animations were created with Blender.

Lena's Adventure

Also developed as part of a course on object-oriented programming, this game is heavily inspired by Zelda II on the NES, where 2D combat is mixed with top-down exploration.

Banana Lord

Game developed in a team of 8 people for a 45-hour GameJam with the theme 'The Cult.' In this game, the player controls a brave hero who aims to free humanity from a terrifying threat: a tribe of bananas. The main menu and the Game Over screen were primarily designed by me and the lead 3D modeler.

Dog Game

This project was created for a Unity course. The goal was to create a platformer game. I wanted to make something similar to The Lost Vikings, a puzzle/platformer game where the player must control and master the abilities of 3 different characters to conquer levels.

Beewise

Game developed in a team of 3 people for a 45-hour GameJam with the theme 'The Garden.' In this game, inspired by classic arcade games like Phantasy Zone (SEGA), the player controls a small bee that must survive against enemies while keeping its energy up, which can be replenished by collecting nectar from flowers. I was responsible for some models and animations (rigs). Thanks to our efforts, we finished in 2nd place at the end of the competition.

Dragon Quest Parody

This game was developed as part of a course on object-oriented programming at CEGEP. It is a parody of Japanese role-playing games (JRPGs) where the player takes on the role of a dragon tasked with capturing a princess.
